For me, meditation has been a total life-saver. I was really struggling with anxiety and panic attacks for a few years there, and nothing else seemed to help. But once I started meditating every day, my anxiety gradually began to dissipate.
I think one of the main reasons it helped so much is because it taught me how to be more present and aware in the moment, rather than letting my mind run rampant with all sorts of negative thoughts. When you can bring your awareness to what’s happening in the present moment, it starts to dissolve the fear and anxiety that’s built up around those thoughts.
