Yes, I think a lot of people feel this way. It seems like happiness is always just out of reach. But I don’t think it’s chasing happiness that’s the problem–I think it’s the way we go about trying to chase happiness that makes us unhappy.
We’re often so focused on what we don’t have and what’s going wrong in our lives, that we forget to appreciate all the good things that are happening. Instead of being grateful for what we do have, we focus on what we don’t have and how much better our lives would be if only _____ happened.
